The UPPSC PCS 2018 Final Results Out. The commission has declared the result on 11th September 2020. The PCS interview took place from 10th August to 25th August. PCS Mains 2018 result was declared on 23rd June 2020.

Update on PCS 2019 & 2020
- The PCS 2019 Prelims was conducted on December 15, 2019.
- The result of the Combined State/Upper State/Upper Subordinate Services (Gen./Spl/Recctt.) (Prelim) Examination 2019 and Assistant Conservator of Forest/Range Forest Officer (Prelim) Examination 2019 was released on 17th February 2020.
- Candidates should know that for the PCS Prelims 2020 that is scheduled for 11th October 2020 while PCS Mains 2019 is scheduled from 22nd September onward. The PCS admit card for Mains 2019 has been released.

The UPPSC PCS Exam 2020 is yet to take place. The UPPSC notification 2020 was out on 21st April 2020. The results will be updated here once the examination takes place.

UPPSC Results are announced periodically on the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC). The UPPSC conducts various examinations to recruit for Group A, B, and C posts in the Uttar Pradesh government machinery.
To see their UPPSC result, candidates need to open the official site and check the latest updates under the “Information Bulletin” heading on the right side of the page. The official Answer Key is also released on the UPPSC site.
The Provincial Civil Service (PCS) Exam or the Combined State/ Upper Subordinate Services Examination is held by the UPPSC to recruit Group A and B officers into the various administrative branches of the state government.
Based on merit ranking, the selected candidates become Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Block Development Officer, Assistant Regional Transport Officer, Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Tax) etc.
Also, the PCS officers can become IAS officers later in their careers.

The PCS exam pattern and syllabus are quite similar to that of the Civil Service Exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission.
The UP PCS exam comprises three stages:
- Prelims – 2 objective type (MCQs) papers
- Mains – 8 theory (descriptive/essay type) papers
- Interview
Candidates who clear the Prelims stage, qualify for the Mains stage and those who pass are then called for a Personality Test by the UPPSC board.

UPPSC Result 2018
The final result of UPPSC PCS 2018 is released on 11th September 2020. UPPSC PCS 2018 interview was revised from 13th July onward to 10th August onward. The interview process for UPPSC 2018 got over on 25th August 2020. 2669 candidates were declared successful for PCS Interview 2018. The PCS Mains 2018 took place between 18th October and 22nd October 2019. For the PCS Main Exam, a total of 19096 candidates were declared as eligible.

The revised results have come on the heels of Khusboo Bansal vs. State of Uttar Pradesh case. The Lucknow High Court has given a verdict that all women candidates belonging from states other than UP will also stand as ‘passed’ if their marks were over and above the cut-off range decided for the women candidates who are domicile of UP. This way cut-off range of General Category, Physically-Challenged (backlog), Reserved Category for women candidates all over the country for UPPSC Prelims exam 2018 has been declared as same.

The PCS Exam is conducted on a yearly basis by the commission and the exam process often lasts longer than one year.

For the PCS Exam (Prelims) 2017, a total of 455297 online applications were received by the commission. Out of which, 246654 aspirants appeared for the Prelims exam. 14032 candidates were declared eligible for the UPPSC Mains 2017.

Over 12000 candidates appeared for the UPPSC Mains 2016, out of which 1993 candidates qualified for the final interview stage.
The interviews for UPPSC 2016 were held in December 2018 and January 2019. In February 2019, the final result of the PCS Exam 2016 was declared by the commission.
